Fees

How we explain fees

No bundled, vague quotations. We start with what the cost is made of, when it is due, and in which cases we do not charge.

Fees

Fees Have Three Parts—Looked at Separately, They Are Clear

Immigration costs usually feel uncertain because every figure gets bundled into one "total price". We split it into three categories and explain who each one is paid to and how it is settled. All amounts are settled at the official rates in force and at the cost actually incurred.

Category One

Government Fees

Statutory fees paid to Mauritian government departments. The rates are published by the authorities and change with policy.

  • Permit fees (payable at official rates once the permit is approved)
  • Application processing and related administrative fees
  • Residence registration, fingerprinting and similar charges
  • Property transfer tax, registration and registration fees

How it is settled: collected and paid on your behalf at cost, with official receipts shown and no mark-up.

Category Two

Third-Party Costs

Charged by independent licensed firms or service providers. The amount depends on the complexity of your case and the choices you make.

  • Document translation, notarisation and legalisation
  • Legal fees, title searches and deed costs
  • Local medical examinations and health checks
  • Company bookkeeping, audit and tax filings
  • Bank account opening costs, property holding and insurance costs
  • School registration fees, entrance assessment fees and other education-related costs

How it is settled: you pay the provider directly; our role is to compare options and coordinate.

Category Three

Our Service Fee

The only fee charged by Tian Tang Meng Xi. It is priced by service module and confirmed in writing before you sign.

  • Route assessment and a personalised planning document
  • Document preparation, coordination of translation and notarisation, and submission
  • Liaison with government, verification of original documents and accompaniment to collect the permit
  • Guidance on bank account opening and interview preparation
  • Business setup and settlement services (charged by module or stage)

How it is settled: work proceeds by stage and payment is made in instalments; no charges are created outside the service fee.

How Payment Works

The Consultation Fee and Payment Milestones

Why the First In-Depth Consultation Is Charged

A responsible assessment means checking your age, family structure, funding route and business plan, and producing a plan with a concrete timetable on that basis—that is real work. We therefore charge for a one-to-one assessment; if you decide to appoint us after the assessment, that consultation fee is credited against the service fee and is not charged twice.

We Talk First, Then Talk Fees

The first contact and questions on basic points are free. Once the route is confirmed we provide a written quotation, setting out the service fee and the estimated ranges for government fees and third-party costs, together with the payment milestones.

Payment Milestones

  • Stage one: assessment and planning (consultation fee, credited on signing)
  • Stage two: document preparation and submission (paid by module)
  • Stage three: approval, permit collection, arrival and settling in (paid by completed service milestone)
  • Government fees and third-party costs are settled at cost at the corresponding stage and are not collected through our service fee account.
Why we do not list a "total price" on this page: for the same visa, third-party costs can differ several times over between families (property value, the volume of documents, whether a company audit is involved, whether children are enrolling at school, and so on). Quoting an average would only mislead. We would rather give you an itemised, verifiable list once you provide your basic information.
Our Commitments

Four Commitments on Fees

No Bundled, Vague Quotations

Government fees, third-party costs and our service fee are listed separately, with the payee and the purpose stated for each.

No Opaque Collections

Government fees are collected and paid on your behalf at cost with receipts shown; third-party costs are paid by you directly to the provider.

No Promise of Approval

The decision rests with the government. We do not offer a "guaranteed approval" package, nor do we make payment conditional on the outcome.

No Mid-Process Price Increases

The service fee is confirmed in writing before signing; any adjustment to government fees caused by policy changes is notified in advance.
